How To Work
Dibekacin is an antibiotic or antibacterial drug. This drug works by inhibiting the formation of bacterial cell proteins, causing bacterial cells to die. Debikacin has the ability to fight and kill negative gram bacteria and several types of bacteria Staphylococcus.
Indications
This drug is used for cases of infection due to negative gram bacteria as follows:
- Blefaritis or infection in eyelash
- Middle ear infection (central ear infection)media autotitis)
- Pandang amendel (Radang Amandel)tonsilitis)
- Post-operative infections
- The formation of abscess (pun bag) in the liver organs
- Lung infections pneumonia
- Urinary tract infection
Contraindication
This drug cannot be given to individuals with the following medical conditions, including:
- Having an allergic reaction to this drug
- There is an infection of the middle ear and hole in the eardrum
- Pregnant women
Side Effects
There are several fatal side effects and need immediate medical treatment, namely:
- Damage to the ear function such as hearing loss

Dose
Injection drugs are available
- Adults
- Dose of 100 mg/day or 1-3 mg/kg of body weight per day, in 1 or 2 doses divided.
- Drugs can be given through injections into the muscles or veins (infusion).
- If given through infusion, the drug is given for 30-60 minutes.
- Children
- Dose 1-2 mg/kg of body weight per day, in 1 or 2 doses divided.
Eye drops
2 drops of medicine can be given 4 times a day on infected eyes.
Security
The use of this drug during pregnancy can cause hearing nerve disorders in the fetus, so that the use of drugs needs to be closely monitored by the patient's doctor in charge.
